Walcott’s future is once again up in the air

As each transfer window arrives, more and new rumors emerge and Arsenal is one of the clubs that always appear to be involved with possible transfers of players.

Danny Welbeck, Alexis Sanchez, Jack Wilshere, and Theo Walcott are just a few of the players in the squad of Arsene Wenger that have a tendency of appearing as possible transfer targets, taking into consideration that Arsenal has consistently struggled trying to lift any major piece of silverware, it’s no real surprise why there are many performers who could leave the Emirates Stadium and join a club that has a bigger and more realistic chance of conquering Europe.

Arsene Wenger has always tried to keep hold of his key players and this is once more occurring with Theo Walcott as the 28 year old English player is rumored to be interested in signing with the Italian club Ac.Milan, whether or not this is true is something that remains to be seen.

In the current English Premier League season of 2017-18, Theo Walcott has significantly struggled trying to find a starter spot in the first team of Arsene Wenger with only 5 appearances being made in the 22 league matches that Arsenal has played so far and to make matters even worse, those 5 appearances were made from the sidelines as a substitute role.

Walcott is 28 years old and his playing career has not truly exploded how Wenger or how the supporters of the player were expecting and wanted it to. A change of clubs is something that can heighten the remainder of Walcott’s career to new levels but a transfer will ultimately depend on Arsene Wenger as the French manager is well-known for his resiliency of not letting go a select few of his players even if they only play a substitute position in the club.
