Theo Walcott Signs a New Long-term Contract

Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that Theo Walcott has signed a new long term contract with the Club.
Walcott, who turned 20 in March, joined Arsenal from Southampton in January 2006, has already made a marked impression at the Club, racking up 103 appearances and scoring 14 goals.

Theo Walcott was born in Stanmore, Greater London and grew up in a village of Compton which is near to Newbury. He started to play for A.F.C Newbury and then The Downs School. Theo Walcott has scored more than 100 goals in his only season for Newbury before joining Swindon Town. Then, the young boy joined Southampton. Theo Walcott got his Nike sponsorship deal at the age of fourteen.
